New Sun L 135 110cc

I just bought this ATV for my daughter for her birthday and can't seem to get it started. I charged the battery start it it starts but won't stay started, then it seems like the battery is dying cause it won't turn over anymore until I charge the battery again. We haven't even had a chance to ride it yet. I am her mom so I have no idea what to do, I don't even know who to take it to have a look at it. The only option is to put it in the van and bring it to my cousin who is 2 .5 hours away. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

welcome to the forums! we'll help you out.
when you say it started but won't stay started, does it fire up and run, and then dies? or does it just turn over/crank but never fires? (i'm presuming it turns over and does not run seeing how, i think, you are saying the battery dies due to constant cranking).
does it have a fuel valve located under, and usually to the left side, of the frame under and side of fuel tank? what position is the valve in? you may need to trace out the hose which should be on the bottom and then runs around to the carburetor. the valve should be in either the 9 or 3 o'clock position. we are trying to determine if it's getting fuel is what i'm getting at. also look at what position the choke is in for a cold start application.
if you have the owner's manual, it may have some pics in it also to help you out. let us know.
Here's a hyperlink to a 50cc machine, scroll down to page 9 and you'll see a pic of a fuel valve to help give you an idea.
