Duck tape. I used it to hold a A arm on once for a 600 Grizzly, it worked great.

+1 on the duct tape. Zip ties are a close second IMO.

seems to me like zip ties would be stronger than duct tape in rough situations :/

Default Zip Ties

I would pick zip ties over the duct tape. This is just based on what I carry with me and the amount of space that it takes in my box on the quad. I used zip ties to hold the tie rod end together on my big bear so that I could make the five mile ride back to the truck...Thank Goodness...slow going when the front tires are aimed different directions!

Doesn't Nascar use duct tape not zip ties for quick fixes? Duct tape will stretch and give under stress. Zip ties have their place but, tend to snap when being twisted and flexed to much. Just my 2 cents

I like the idea of JB Weld and duct tape. Patch it and cover it. Good combo. Zip ties are a good fallback too. Toolwise, a Leatherman, and a good pair of Vise Grips can be a plus on a trip.
