I heard the tune was an English drinking song. And if you could sing it you weren't too drunk to be served.

I’ve got people shooting at me on a regular basis – I don’t get bored.

Great thread guys. As a kid we were getting served at 12 at a little dive bar so selection was poor to say the least. We would buy some good ole Miester Brau since it was $5 a case and some fancy wild irish rose wine or Mad dog 20/20 to go along with it.

I remember visiting some family out near Pittsburgh PA when I was a teenager and all we drank that whole week was Rolling Rock and Iron City beer.

I grew up about 15 minutes from the Pabst brewery but never drank it. A good beer to us back then when we were younger was Heineken or Michealob.

Now I drink Amstellight or Sam Adams light when theirs food to be eaten and if out partying I like to drink corona. Most guys I ride with drink plain old Bud in cans.

Miller Lite is my go to now. In High school it was Strohs, The first one to come out with a 30 pack. 6 extra beers was big back then.

My step father worked part time at a strohs distributor in west bridgewater mass back in 1989, we had at any given point a minimum of 2 pallets worth of strohs in the garage

I always tried to sneak a few cases here & there and sell it to other local teens- even used to trade it for fireworks

hmmm, probably wasn't such a great idea thinking back

Nah....Have you ever tried doing 45 mph down the trail and drinking a beer at the same time? Doesn't work too well. Beer is meant to be drunk in between trails when taking a break only!!! Or when playing around in mudholes

I am just kidding about the above statement btw, if you can pull off doing 45mph and drinking a beer at the same time then more power to ya

In all seriousness no I don't drink while on the trail but I know quite a few people who do. I wait till I am done riding for the day to tie one on!
