X2. I started driving diesels back when it was less than $1.00 a gallon and gas was upwards of $1.50-$2.00 Now I pay more for diesel than gas. WTF!!! If it weren't for the fact that I get better fuel mileage (18-22 on average in a 6500 lb. 4x4 truck)and need the extra low end power vs. a gasser I'd switch to a half ton with a small V8. I know this is America and we all have the right to do, say, and drive what we want but it aggravates me when I see some punk kid driving a big diesel truck (who doesn't need it) jacked up and pipes sticking out of the bed serving no purpose other than looking and sounding cool. Not to mention creating a higher demand for diesel causing a rise in price and a rise in the price of diesel trucks. Which 15 years ago very few people wanted. Sorry for the rant but my therapist says it'll make me feel better. I don't think it's working.LOL

I have a 2001 F250 4x4 crewcab with a 7.3 turbo diesel, I purchased mine when diesel was cheaper than gas also. I had a 94 F150 but it didnt have enough *** to pull my camper so I got the bigger truck. Now my camper is set up on some land I own, but I still need the big truck for pulling bobcats, trenchers and mini excavators around for work. Just gets more expensive everyday...

In a perfect world we wouldn't have to worry about fuel costs.
