Hi, here is my friendly $.02.
1) any year 250R is a nice ride, and one you can use for just about ever. you can find a nice one in that price range in my area.
2) I don't think the 450R ever had major engine issues. 04/05 had a better trail motor and suspension. 06+ had a big engine overhaul, and suspension became a little harder edged. Either are good machines.
3)700Rap, perfect for what you are looking to do, great power, suspension, handling, comfort, reverse, etc
4)Banshee. Well, everyone should own a Banshee at some point if you are into power, lol. Not my first choice for a woods weapon, it is an exciting but tiring ride with a chassis that shows its' 25 y/o design flaws
5)660 Raptor... the tranny issues were resolved on the '02 model. It is a good quad, and one that has a lot of potential.
I like and would own pretty much every quad on your list for the right price. I own a yfz450 and a 250R, but have ridden all the rest. Personally, I would go with the 700 Rappy, then 450R, 250R, 660, and finally Banshee as my order of preference. When buying used, maintenance and cleanliness of the machine trump a lot of other things in my mind though. All of those are fun rides, so go get some!!

Thanks for the input yea more i think about it the banshee has a close feel to the warrior specially since there around the same age, so i would like to have something with a newer tighter feel to it, the raptor 700 would definitely be a fun one, ive ridden one before and it has a good feel to it, but i would just love to have a good ole 250r so lightweight and nimble with a good ole 2 stroke, its gonna be a hard choice i know that.

Yea its probably gonna come down to which one i find the better deal on between the 700 rap, 250r and 450r, it might be hard to find a decent 700 rap for 3k though, idno cant really go wrong with either of those three.

Good decision. Personally wouldn't go for a 250R if can find a 450R in the price range. They are uniques and sweet machines but, still a gas guzzling 2-stroke with no bottom end for your trails. The 700 has bottom end to spare and the 450R will be right in the middle.

Our powerlines arent bad like that, ours is good for hill climbs and high speeds, i love going from one side to the other fast as i can, the only mud there you can easily just drive around.
