ATV Review: The 2012 Kymco Maxxer 450i
#1
Check out Jason Giacchino's new homepage article profiling the 2012 Kymco Maxxer 450i. What do you think? Can the Kymco compete with the bigs?

Engineering on the Maxxer 450i is certainly up to par and there are even a few amenities that you won’t find even on much more expensive ATVs, such as full digital instrumentation (including a graphic fuel gauge)
but again, the Maxxer 450i’s primary demographic is looking for budget friendliness.
There's a $6600 4x4 atv that doesn't have a digital cluster?

because I can't think of one...

"budget friendliness"... Kymco is a bit out of line pricing it at $6600!
2012 Can-Am 400 Outlander- same price ($6700), better suspension and is better in ever other way than the Maxxer-
2012 PolariS Sportsman 500 H.O. is $400 cheaper- and again- leagues above the 450 maxxer.
every Honda 4x4 model for 2012 400-500cc range is either cheaper or the same price...
Sorry Maxxer- you can't sell a $3000 atv with generic looking features and a "dollar store" looking display cluster for $6600-

IMO, nope- not at that price with those chinese looking features. I feel the article was a little "too nice"....
