I think that is for the "people with too much money" market.
Impractical as a replacement for an atv or military applications as human conveyance. unmanned posibly, but a soldier would be a natural bullet magnet on one of those.
Moderately entertaining on flat land or in the dunes maybe until the novelty wore off.
An expensive tinkertoy.
