Default Retractable tie downs

I like the idea of tie down straps that retract and store the excess webbing on the ratchet mechanism. I saw some at Menards from smartstraps.com but they got bad reviews online for the durability of the retracting mechanism as well as the straps themselves. I've read of another brand that had similar negative reviews. Has anyone here had good results with a retracting tie down strap? If so, what brand was it?

I have a few of these that I use on treestands...The locking mechanism seems to be pretty good for treestand application...But I haven't used them for tiedowns for my machine...They sell them at Wallyworld if you wanna check them out first...

They are fine as long as there is no dirt, mud, or any other debris around. And never never never use any type of spray lubricants. They will attract all the dirt in the neighborhood. IMO they are a waste of money.
