2008 Kawasaki KFX 700 or 2007 Yamaha 700 Raptor

The KFX 700s are big, i've been real close to them, their big! What i hear, a sport-utility mix, personally not my style.. But don't mind me, i don't have any real expeirance with them.
The Raptors I've heard are a bit nose heavy, but a big step up from the 660. I sit on one once and the feel was amazing! But then again... I don't have one
Out of the 2 i'd choose the raptor, i go for the more sporty stuff!

What type of riding would you be doing mostly?
The 5 speed vs auto is a big difference, two motor types, suspension set up... lot of difference between the two.

Yeah, as scooter says completely different worlds here. 700R is sport. I'm not sure what the KFX is. Maybe the guy that needs to pull trailers around the yard but, likes to hot rod?
700's are nice machines. Lot of fun. KFX's are very large and super heavy. Got one stuck in a creek last week. Went to pick it up and pull it out like do our 450's...Nope. that didn't happen. Had to pull it out with a rhino.

Thanks for the reply guys, the KFX is an auto sport quad with cvt trans.
I will be doing trail riding, no hauling or farm stuff. I just wanted some input
on these machines as far as problems or longevity.
Thanks

Id say the Raptor....I have a 2008 700 Raptor and I love it....I live in Virginia so I do nothing but mountain trail riding and I have no problems going where I want to.....The Raptor will go anywhere a four-wheel drive utility will go...plus I like the ability to change my own gears when I feel the need...just a personal preference tho.
