How far would you drive to buy a Quad?
I live in Phoenix and see a lot of quads for sale around here. I am saving my money up and looking each week on Craigslist to see what the common prices are for what I am looking for. Either a 2005 TRX400EX, or a TL Z400. I am leaning more towards the TL Z400, because I like them, I see a lot of them in great condition and there are a ton of them for sale at a price I can afford.
However, I notice that its up and down in my market. Just for giggles I went to California's Craigslist to see what they had and I saw a couple of unbelievable buys, I mean really great quads for an unbelievable price. You know those I need to dump it deals. But they are 5-6 hours away, one state over. Would you, or have you ever traveled 300 miles to buy a quad? Or do you just wait patiently for that deal to come a long when your ready to buy?

Not a quad but I travelled 1100 miles each way for a boat and it was worth every mile for the deal I got, you need to ask for detailed pictures and info and be sure you are dealing with someone that is honest which can be hard these days, that case it was someone on a boat forum that had a good reputation and I knew they wouldn't screw me over, I would be weary about going that far for something just posted on CL or somewhere like that.
