Default Buying from China, Brand Name ?

Good day,
i have come across some websites lately advertising Yamaha,Can-Am,Honda Atv's from China.
They are going for unbelievably good prices and they say that they are genuine Yamaha/Honda atv's with 6 month yamaha or honda warranty's.
the companies and not manufatureres but wholesalers....
the price will go up with duties and taxes coming into Canada or USA.
HAs anyone heard of these places or know of anyone whom has bought a brand name machine from china?

If they are coming from China, i seriously doubt they are genuine Yamaha, Honda or anything else. more than likely a "clone" with similiar plastics, but sub standard Chinese parts. Chinese business practices are questionable at best, they will tell you they have the major brands when in fact they are selling you the cut rate, low quality Chinese knockoffs. I would sooner buy a good used name brand locally than take a chance with the quads they would sell you.

Can you post the links to those sites?

I'm with Wolvy on this, I wouldn't believe/trust them either.

Genuine Yamaha, Ca-am and Honda products will be sold at those dealerships. Chinese versions of the same thing will not be, and for good reason.

x2 on the above posts-

it's either a scam, a hoax or a lie.
think the process & technicalities through- it makes no sense.
you're not buying a "cheap" can-am from china and shipping it to the states-

Any company out of china, or here for that matter, that shows forms of payment as western union or telegram in their ads immediately sets off red flags for me.

Since when is a Raptor 700r a 4x4? They advertise a Segway that looks like it has 3 wheels because it can't balance itself. It looks like all they sell are cheap imitations of popular products.

Plus on a couple of the tvs they give Samsung model numbers and general info, but don't say that they are actual a Samsung? I'd be leery of this website.Especially when Money Gram and Western Union are payment methods! OPT
