Do you get chased by dogs?
Idk what it is about my quad that puts dogs in a fritz, but I've gotten chased about 20 times by them so far. I ride lots of dirt roads in the country out here and most people just let their dogs run loose and I get chased by them. Today I got chased by a red heeler or something, some kind of cowdog and it was fast! Dog kept up with me in 4th until I shifted up to 5th and pulled away, I was shocked. Anyway, do you get chased by dogs? Even my dogs love chasing the quad, I do it to give them exercise, all good fun.

Used to get chased by a friend's dog that was part sheepdog. Would bite at the tires like it was biting at the heels of sheep. Had to be put down when it got really old and sick. That's the only dog I can think of ever chasing me.
Maybe it's the little quad you're riding. Predators look for smaller, easier to take down, prey. JK

Speaking of winches, I just replaced my metal cable with synthetic from Warn. Won't need gloves to handle it if I can't follow you up that hill again, Jgar.

Just cause your little quad was narrow enough to make it up without getting into that 2.5 foot deep trench on the right side.

400exrider02, never thought about it before but it does seem like most dogs like to chase quads.
