purchasing a mudding fourwheeler
#15
KingQuads are REALLY good bikes. I have one that I'm trying to sell. I hate to sell it, but I have to put a motor in my Duramax.. Not a fan of Brute Force. Everybody I know with one has had nothing but problems. I would say Grizzly 700 or KQ700 or 750

I'm looking for a custom shop that specializes in jacking up rigs for mud bogging and/or rock bouncing. Can anyone recommend a place in the TX, AR, LA area? Ideally, I want to find a shop that also has a crew - so they know what they're doing. I'm not looking for a repair shop - I'm looking for a complete customization. I want the best. Suggestions?

$6k will put you on a 2007-2009 can-am outlander 650xt or an 08-2010 polaris sportsman 500 - 800.
either one will out power & out perform any japanese 4x4.
also agree with the above post about the brute forces- the 05 & 06 (I owned both) were nothing but problem after problem- and both had low mileage.
my honda rincon was just way too under powered and didn't have a front locking diff or adjustable shocks. I also got annoyed with the poor shifting in cold weather. (owned 2 of those also)
My 05 KQ700 was okay- had a couple electrical issues that left me stranded miles from home- but other than that it was a decent all around atv. Had a hard seat- but I really liked the shifter on the left side.
I'm also personally not a fan of the AC.
I went down to a local AC dealer with a pocket full of cash ready to buy- after going through the AC atv's on the dealer floor, I left unimpressed.
The quality, aesthetics & features just didn't seem up to par with the polaris or can-am atv's- imo.
