Default Help me decide between these two

I have been wanting a four wheeler for hunting and I have these 2 options.
atv 4 wheeler
1987 honda fourtrax 250

One is a Suzuki and the other a Honda. Please give me good and bad of both.
Honda has lights just not in picture.
I got good advise on a previous one I was looking at and I figure yall know more than me.

Both look pretty clean for the age. Plastics being held on by zip ties on the Honda would concern me a tad. I would lean towards the Suzuki, but that's just me. I imagine more will tell you it's a no-brainer to pick a Honda over a Suzuki especially back at that point as Suzuki was just getting into the ATV market at that time.

I can't see the Honda, listing was removed. Those Suzuki shafts are reliable as a stone. Dad still has his '86 and it runs just fine. The only problem is they have no rear suspension and very limited front suspension. Great for putting around and yard work, not so much for spirited trail riding. The dual range tranny puts some crazy power down. I used to pull a daisy chain of my log splitter and a small trailer loaded with about a half face cord of wood all over the woods of western NY. Always ran out of traction(and sometimes brains) before power.

The reason it is removed is the Honda is sitting in my garage

Both 4 wheelers my dad have been Honda and I did not know much about Suzuki's.
Now the problems begin. Went out this morning to admire my 4 wheeler and the front tire was flat after looking it over I discovered 3 plugs in it and some cracking(dry rot). So I called a local shop and he said he had a set of decent used tires he would let go for $30 mounted. Got to shop and the tires he had were not the correct size and so we went out to dig thru the some tire and right off I saw a tore up 4 wheeler with the correct tires so I jumped on them at an additional cost of $30 for him to take them off and remount them on my rims.
Gave him over a hour and came back to only find out he could not get the bead sealed on them so now I have 2 tires that will not hold air at a cost of $60. So we look around and he say I got these 11" rims with tire I will let you have for $20 plus your rims if you take them off to make a long story short I took the off and they would not fit my 4 wheeler so I am stuck with the 2 that will not hold air. They are know sitting at a service station it a friend and he says he will take the tires off, sand them, remount them and seal them.
First shop guy seemed to be a idiot and after thinking about it if he was a decent motorcycle mechanic he would be working for a motorcycle shop and not out the back door of a grocery store. So all together I will be into these used tires for about $80 if the service station can get them sealed.
If not I will more than likely need to invest in a set of new tires from a bike shop that they will have to order and still may not be able to get a seal. another $200 that I don't have.

And to add to the issue I can not find a serial/vin# got a bill of sale but did not push to find the # I figured I would find it later and write it on the bill of sale.
Can't even find a engine #. The frame has been painted and I can not be sure that the VIN was not painted over but I have a bad feeling.

Unhappy

And here I was just concerned a little over the plastic being held on by zip ties. Sounds like you've got a big headache before you even take it out, which you can't even do anyway with two tires not holding air.
