Hello, I'm a new user from ky, and I'm lookin to purchase me a new four wheeler this Thursday, but I'm stuck between a few different ones. I loved the 2014 Suzuki z400, but I've also looked at a yfz450, a raptor 250 and 350. Any opinions on which ones yall like?

 

i would have said yfz450 but what do others think although the z400 is a good strong quad

 

Yeah, I really liked the z400. But I've heard a lot of good about the 250 raptor, the only thing is its kinda small and I'm not that small a person at 6'1 220.

 

The YFZ basically has race a engine like all 450s. Everyone says they need more frequent maintenance. I don't think you would be happy with the Raptor 250 or 350. They're good quads but not enough power. The Z400 would be a good choice IMO.

Yfz450, good quad all around.

 

Z400, good trail atv and plenty fast for flying through fields. Plenty power for rugged terrain doesn't tend to bog down at low RPMs.

 

Depends on what you're using it for. The z400 has reverse and is better for trailing than a yfz. But a yfz will have better speed and track performance. As for the raptors... Nice quads just not as much fun power, the quads will lug more than a z 400 or a yfz cuz they are made for racing which is y im surprised to see 450s with reverse. But the yfz and ltz are A LOT more upgradable friendly. But these machines are very high maintenance,(more the yfz then the ltz) the raptors will not need as much attention. The 400 and 450 are more high strung so u get really good torque out of them, i have a yfz personally and i take it everywhere and it does just fine. Also, the raptors will b much less expensive to maintain, but the maintenance on the 450 and 400 are totally worth it to me. I say u need to go test drive them yourself and see which one u like best!
