I am just starting to browse and search on what bikes are in my price range and fits what I want so any help would be awesome...Pretty sure I'm going to sell my LS1 Firebird and get a bike for me and maybe a little one for the kids to share.

I'm 6' and 230lbs, I owned a 2001 400EX for about 3 years. Sold it in 06, been out of the scene since then. Two of my friends have Z400's. Ride mainly trails and backroads some water, no sand. This time I want reverse for sure. Want something fast for sure, just came across the 700xx a few min ago and have been researching a little on that, but not even for sure what the going rate is on them yet. I didn't even know honda made a 700 till minutes ago,lol.

So what are year and bike's I should be looking at for my needs and price range?

 

I have a 400ex its easy to throw around but I wish it had more *****. If I were to buy a different atv today it would be the 700xx or a raptor 700. Both of them are great trail rides and more than enough power in stock form. A 450r is a fast ride and would be good for dirt roads and more open areas but they dont do as well on the trails.

 

Look on craigslist, its the way to go for a good cheap quad, if u ride trails look into the kawasaki yamaha and Honda 700s, they are good for trails, if u like the track or fast acceleration look into the 450s i have a yfz 450 and its crazy fast cuz if the bore kit and hmf and other things... Got it for 3250 on craigslist! If u want knew for 4500 look into the raptor 250 or maybe 350 or any 350 really. Make sure u test drive or reaserch the quad b4 u get it. Oh, and dont b the dummy to get a quad without a title cuz i made that mistake and it sucks! Good luck!
