Default Suzuki King Quad plow

I just bought the Suzuki king quad 450axi. I am looking to put a plow on it and was wondering what type of plows are good. I do a few mid sized driveways, nothing huge. I heard front mounts are good but the center mounts are the best. Any preferences? Any info will help!

Lots of choices for that machine. Normally I would steer riders away from front mounts for smaller displacement quads but since the 450 shares the same chassis and pretty much the same weight as the 750, I would not take front mount off the table. With front mount you get easier mounting and better ground clearance but the stress on the chassis is not as balanced as mid-mounts.

Get a blade at least long enough that will cover your tracks when the blade is completely angled otherwise you'll be packing down snow behind you that will be harder to scrape off in subsequent passes.

Then you have to decide if you want manual lift, actuator or winch. Down force kits, power angle, wings, flaps to consider if you want to get fancy.

You can start to look at moose, cycle country, meyer, eagle systems for ideas. There's others but that should get you started.

Thank you! I think I'm gonna go with a winch system to lift it. I've been looking at a warn plow. Any thoughts on this type of plow? I know it is a pretty large brand name so I figured the quality has to be good

Oh geez, how could I forget warn. Yes, warn will get the job down. Have heard complaints about their power angle but I have no experience with it myself so I don't know. Front mount is easy to hook blade up but not the quickest. Their bucket option is nice too in case you need to do some simple stacking/move banks back.

Its is a 2008 with its original stock tires on it. They still have plenty of tred on them and we get approximately 5 ft of snow a year so not that much. I need it to plow about 6 inches at a time

If you decide to go with a large blade or if where your plowing is gravel or pitched, you may wanna consider getting snow tires or chains but if you're on blacktop, the chains may mark up the drive.
