Not sure if this is the best thread so my apologies if not...

I purchased 2 atv's about 4 months ago. When I purchased the from the original owner, he gave me both a bill of sale and the original titles to each bike. We are now contemplating selling 1 of the bikes as we've since purchased a larger one.

My question is, I have not titled either of the bikes in my name since we purchased them. If I sell the bike to someone new, are they able to use the original owner's title or would it be best for me to title the bike prior to selling?

As a purchaser, I wouldn't have much of a problem with it because you only bought them 4 months ago. Throw them out there and you find the buyers are not comfortable, you'll know it would be best to register them in your name. Every state is different though so it's best to check with your DMV.
