Default 100cc quad parts advice

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie to quad biking and have recently purchased a small 100cc Armstrong desert cat quad.

The problem I have is when driving it is very difficult to keep the quad driving straight.

I originally thought the wheel bearrings were shot, however having jacked the from end up, I have discovered i can push and pull the wheel from the top and bottom and have a good few mm of free play, which seems to be coming from part of the steering / suspension set-up.

So here goes trying to describe the faulty part...

At the wheel end of the front a-arm is a cylindrical tube with a bolt running through it which then seems to attach to the wheel hub, the bolt can be moved around within the tube, I'm guessing there should be much less movement than the 5-6mm I have got, possibly a perished bush??

The problem I have is firstly what this parts technical name is and secondly where I would source a replacement.

I will upload a photo tomorrow when the light is better for taking it.

Any help / guidance hugely appreciated.

Many thanks
