Default Simple atv lift kit

I'm new to the forum, so if I have thos in the wrong place please Correct me and ill fix it. I was looking at my atvs and was wondering if I could just put in longer shocks for a 2-4" lift? I have a 1996 polaris magnum 425 4x4 and a 2013 Taotao 110cc (chinese atv) if anyone knows if this will work it would be great to know before I just buy shocks. Thanks to anyone for any help.

YES you could do that.
Or make relocation brackets for where the existing shocks mount. move the upper mount point down or move the lower mount point up.
That is how the lift kit on my buddies razor werked...simple shock mount point relocation brackets.
He was rather "upset" as he is a welder and could have made them himself...thus making him "upset"

Ok thanks I have heard about that style lift, I wasn't sure how to make one, but ill look into it. Since the shocks in my 110 are the cheap chinese ones, I might have to replace them soon anyways.

DelSnow, That ebing said "cheap chinese ones" can you, in fact, get longer shocks for it? heck maybe look into automotive shocks, unless of course they are coil-overs which I assume they probably are....just a thought.
But relocation wouldn't be that hard with some bent steel to make some bracketry.
investigate how they are attached and go from there.
Good Luck

They are coil over, but I think I found a company on amazon that makes a adjustable shock that seems strong. Thanks everyone for the help.
