Trx400ex tire sizes need help

Default Trx400ex tire sizes need help

I bought a 2002 trx400ex and the tires are pretty worn down so I need some new ones I do mostly riding in the woods / trail riding so i want a little bit more Clearence. I have stock rims so dos any one have some suggestions on size and brand???😬😬😬

Any tire with a X lug works well, Holeshots. I always ran 20" tires with a 1/4" swing arm skid plate. The 22's will rob you of some low end grunt and you will feel the difference in corners.

Holeshots tires are the ones with good traction out there, one guy here has 22x10x9 on rear and 23x7x10 on front and in good stance. Another best option is Maxxis Razr tires, they sure last for years. Few retailers have them on good discount such as ATVTireDepot.com, 4WheelOnline.com, RockyMountain. Smaller tires on it will ride better.
