I have a 14 Sportsman 400 and I noticed a noise in my shock / strut however it sounds like it's the spring I can't really tell, I can't hear it when I ride it I can when it's in the garage and I push down on the front left. It Sounds like a squeak slash pop really weird sound. Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Jack the front end up to take the load off and check that the top nut is tight and that the top or bottom plastic pivot ***** haven't cracked. I'd still jack it up and inspect the top area of the strut.Sounds like spring squeaking along with noises from the pivots. Plus a little PB Blaster sprayed around the top of the spring retainer and pivot probably can help.
