Default Tire Sizes?

Ok everyone, what is the widest tire you can get on a 12"x7" wheel? These are for the back.

I have seen 12" wide tires on 7" wide rims. The widest tire I ever seen was a 12.5" ,I forget what tire brand it was.

Are sure its not a 7.5" wide rim? That's the most common size rear rim. I put a 11" wide tire on my Grizzly's 7.5 rim and it sure looked like it could easily go wider yet.

I haven't measured it. I just got it over the weekend and ordered all the parts to put it back together.

Rear swing arm bushings, bearing (complete assembly)
Rear Brake Caliper Assembly
Lower ball joints
Tail light lens cover

Going to clean out the carb tonight.

It came with skid plates and an aftermarket muffler that was welded on. What kind of performance increase do you guys see from the exhaust alone?

Not sure on that but if performance increase is what you after ,smaller narrower tires are the way to go not the other way around.
