HI folks I have picked a 05 tao tao 110cc from what I gathered.

The problem: I can not get the start switch or the remote start toturn over the motor.

What I've done: I have replaced the starter selanoid and a new battery. Also had to replace the master cylinder. I can jump the selanoid and it run.

What I've noticed: I can hit the start button and get nothing with holding the brake. I've tried the remote start i guess(I have no clue on if there's a combination to it I just it the lighting button with holding the brake). I don't have a light for the brake light tonight but all wires are connected. The head lights do not come on even with the key switch on.

Please guys help me this is for kids for Christmas thank yall

 

Well it could be one of the following the combo switch with the push button start and light control is bad, or your key switch is bad. Get a test light and probe the wires you should be able to tell what one is bad. Also if you missing the brake light or bulb replace it. I think without that in place the brake safety will not work.
