Default ATV Coach Passenger Trailer

Hi,
I'm considering buying an ATV coach. But they cost almost $3000! I'd like to hear from anyone who has used one. Does it seem safe? Are people (adults and children) comfortable riding in it? Have you flipped the ATV and how did it work out for the person in there?
Thanks
Neil

I would think something like this would be fine if you are planning on going slow on easy trails. If you want to go on something rocky or off-camber or climb steep hills, I don't think I'd want to pull a passenger trailer. If you want to putt around on level ground on your property pulling around your kids or grandkids at 10 mph, then yes I think something like this would be fine. $3000 sounds a bit expensive, I paid less than that for my quad. I bet you could have someone build something for a lot less. It might not look as nice as the one pictured here but it would get the job done. Probably just mount some seats on a small utility trailer and put some sides and doors on it. Probably would cost under $1000. Could probably start with something like this
Amazon.com: Haul-Master 42708 870 Lb. Capacity Utility Trailer, 40 x 49. New: Automotive Amazon.com: Haul-Master 42708 870 Lb. Capacity Utility Trailer, 40 x 49. New: Automotive
and put a wood floor and mount some seats on it and build sides and doors for it.

One of my friends modified a utility trailer that was made for lawn tractors. It worked well for hauling his kids around. The bad thing is that if it rolled over and you were hanging onto the edge your fingers could get caught.

i think they would be ok for normal easy trail riding but not for off camber or rough riding. If that thing gets to the point of tipping it will take your quad with it. Also on dusty roads your passenger may not like you to much

Looks a bit extreme. But it does have suspension. I ride the kids around in my Ohio steel (plastic) trailer. Has about the same wheels and ground clearance. About $300 at tractor supply.

That sounds like a more feasible solution. If you're pulling passengers around in something like this, you're going to be putting along on easy terrain anyway. You wouldn't take something like this on a demanding trail its just too dangerous.

I saw one of these on some trails in northern MN....This doesnt even compare to a $300 utility trailer......This is engineered...The suspension works REALLY nice. Youd be surprised at how stable and safe it is over real terrain. Its worth the money. Look at the parts and the cost to manufacture those parts. Folks pay $10k fpr a quad and haul kids in a wood hauler cause they dont wanna spend the extra? I tow my kinds around in the same cheapo trailer but do it with a dangerous old three wheeler......But these are VERY high quality right here.
