Have wheeler with no one to trail ride with since kids sold everything. Looking for somerone age 50's-60's. Usually ride the up north trails around St Helen, West Branch, Rose city, Mio, Bundy hill, Silver lake areas. Semi retired so have plenty of time for 2 or more day's trip! No matter your type of ride or skill level, fine with me! You'll need some kind of atv and the means to help with a trip. Or If you know of anyone that might have similar intrests please pass on the invite. Looking fortward to getting back to our many Michigan trails once again! I'm a non smoker and ok with few drinks as long as it doesn't get out of hand! Just want a friendly safe trip out with great memories of the trip to remember! Thanks Steve

This should help you. Join a local club in your area. Every member helps whether they know it or not. Just being a club member is a huge bennifit to clubs, especially those clubs that do extencive trail work

Thanks for your advice. I thought of joining a club yet all I care to do is ride with just one other person. I don't care to ride in a group where your tied to their destinations and with so many more things that could go wrong. Never been much of a groupie. lol Thanks Steve

Funny thing is for me, I have several coworkers that also own atvs but we can never get together for a group ride. Most don't get a chance to go much and when they do its a spur of the moment thing and they just ride close to home on their own property. A couple of them dont even have a way to transport them so they couldn't go meet up anyway. With work and family to keep them busy, just not a lot of free time to go out for a whole day and ride.

I guess that's where I'm lucky... we have 1 day a week where all the family is home so that's our riding day. We spent the money on new machines and I just ordered a new one for my little one. Usually their is a few club members that can ride that day. That is also the reason I started a club. So we had a network of people. No one ever has to ride alone.. it's the network that makes it fun and safe.

That's the way we would do the trips, was starting as soon as I got off work Friday and was already packed and loaded from the day before, then drive 5 hrs up north from Dearborn, Mi area. Would get there after a quick trip to the local market around midnight, unload, pitch tents and had still enough adrenaline going to head out in the dark state land with hundreds of miles of wooded trails and great sand hills, for couple hrs. just to jet up before dawn to do it all over again, until late Sunday to avoid the traffic back home, where we would unload , then crash to catch a few hrs of sleep then barely get to work on time on Mon. morning, then during the week take them out till sometimes after midnight, winter and summer, here close to home! Miss those days, yet great memories! I'd do it all over again, gladly! lol Still get the erg often! ''Stupid'' kids sold everything, and now their asking themselves, why? Maybe one day they'll get something again to ride, I'm just not holding my breath until they do! lol I'm riding!!
