Default Lifan 200 wiring problems

I bought a lifan 200cc motor some time ago and have never gotten it to run. I bought a wiring harness and everything is going were its supposed to apparently. After getting the harness and fixing the a ground wire not being in the right place, I found that the start button wasn't working. There is no power going to it from what I could find with a tester. I tried taking to 2 wires out from the charging system to run kick start only which is what I would prefer to do (i know that buttons are nice but I still prefer kick). I've study the pcc motor wiring diagram and my harness match's that exactly except for the diagram shows a "starter switch". I do not have a "starter switch" I have a start button and a key switch. I did hit the carb with a starting fluid and it started long enough to back fire then shut down. The bike has spark but just wont start no matter what any help at all would be appreciated.

Did you solve the problem?
If not, the carb needs cleaning. Also check if tank is clean and fuel coming from it is clean.
