Default CFMoto

So who out their is running a CFmoto machine.. Sorta intrigued by them the reviews from the major publications are quite positive. Especially interested since when you start dinging into things KTm has stake in the company and they also are taking a lot of their tech and styling off of can am machines they even come stock with a cvtech clutch.. Only thing im not fussy about is they only come in a 2 up machine

The smaller ones, the 500 and 400, are available without 2up. The utvs, especially the Z Force sport models, look kinda intriguing. I have a local dealer that sells Can Am, Polaris and also CF Moto. I like all the standard features like nice wheels and tires, winches, handguards on atvs and half doors on the utvs. I think the utvs come standard with street legal kits(turn signals, mirrors and horn). They look to be well made, quality machines. Long term reliability at this point is unknown since they haven't been making units that long.

Ya not interested in the smaller units i ride a 500 now need a little more power not the end of the world getting a 2up just be a little tighter in the trails.. Looking at the hp numbers they are just behind can am by about 13hp but ahead of everyone else.. With a 5 year warranty you really cant beat it.. Just comparing to the similar can am its 3000-5000 price difference depending on how close you match the features. Wish i had a dealer close but its a 18 hour drive, but i did send em a request for a quote with shipping.. Maby i can find someone local that has one or maby talk to my local canam dealer and see if they will bite at becoming a dealer..

Actually just looked up the specs its only 4" longer than the can am 2up

Actually I do know a guy at work who bought one of the Zforce 800 utvs new and likes it. He did have an issue with the cvt clutches, basically the whole system failed but they fixed it under warranty. So at least in his case, they do honor the warranty. He was going to buy a Rzr but the CF Moto cost a lot less. The standard features do add to the value for sure. Its mostly accessories you would eventually add anyway and have to pay extra for, kinda similar to the XT package from Can-Am.

Ya im really leaning towards one. The only thing really holding me back is warantee since the dealer id be purchasing it from is 18 hours away. Im going to have to contact them and see if they farm out the work if i need to get any thing done.. Few people that i have talked to online except one like their machines and say they are just as capable as a can am with a few guys saying flat out they have beet a can am in a race.. not that i care about that.. Looks like on the 2019 models from what i have read they have fixed a few minor issue and upgraded a few things.

The more i read up on these and talk to people that own them the better they are sounding. The company even fixes known issues in the new models and from what i can see honors warranty when needed.. Performance wise they seem to be giving the big boys a run for their money...

Well after a tempting to contact 6 different dealers for a quote and only having one contacting me back with a ridiculous PDI and shipping charge and not responding back when i asked for a breakdown on the charges and not responding iv decided not to purchase a CF.. I even contacted CF moto canada and explained that i was getting no response from dealers 2x. They did not respond till the second time when i told them that i was well known in the local ATV community and this could probably land a few more sales and possibly a interest in opening a dealer in the area. Funny enough within 2 hours of that email my phone was ringing off the hook and emails flooding through from different managers and dealers. I politely told them that i was not a concern to them until they thought their was a possibility of a new dealer and more sales and if that is how they run their business for people that live far away from a local dealer then it made me wonder how i was going to be treated for warranty issues. I think it came down to no dealer wanted to take the extra time that it would take to get a machine ready and ship it up, im 14 hours away from the closest dealer they just wanted the easy sale of load it up and wave bye to the customer. Im sure CFmoto makes a great machine and probably have pretty good service if you live close..... Butt already have a Can am 650 booked for a test drive from my local dealer. He has a few 2018/2019 that i will probably get a good deal on. He had no 850 in stock and i don't need/want a 1000. The 650 is 2x the HP of my current AC 500 and only a few LBS heavier..

Default Power loss on acceleration

hi guys, I own 28 ZFORCE and 2 UFORCE 500S and 1 ZFORCE 800. everything has been great with a few issues here and there. I do trail excursions. I'm having 1 issue though. On the 2 UFORCE and 1 ZFORCE 500 they are starting and idling 100% but not accelerating properly in drive or reverse. So far I replaced:

Coil
Plugs
Plug leads
Air flow switch
Cleaned throttle body

They rev fine in neutral. Please help
