I just replaced the carb in my 86 Yamaha yfm225 and it got rid of the “miss” it had before while idling. It idles perfect it purrs like a kitten. However when you put it in gear and give it gas that’s when it starts missing and stalling and jerking like it’s starved for fuel. I idled it higher and it seemed to fix this mostly but only if the choke lever is on ever so slightly. Anybody got any ideas how to fix this? Idle it lower and run it with the choke on? Thanks in advance for any help.
