Hi, I have a 2004 polaris sportsman 700 twin efi. And I can cruise it in 2wd fine, but as soon as I switch on the 4wd The check engine light kicks on. It doesn’t sound like there’s anything wrong with the engine but it’s annoying and I don’t wanna mess something up. Any ideas on what’s wrong? Thanks

 

I saw another post and someone diagnosed this to be a faulty transmission selector swtich.
