I have 2 somewhat older toys that I'm having a hard time finding rims for. Rocky Mountain ATV is my normal go-to, but they have failed me for my two older quads. I'm trying to find rims for my son's 2005 Kawasaki KFX80 (LT80 clone) and for my 2006 Yamaha Blaster 200.
I can find old bent stockers on e-bay, but I'd really like to buy some aftermarket rims like Douglas. Rear wheels is where I seem to be finding the most trouble.
For the Blaster 200, I really only need new rears.
For the KFX 80, I also only really need new rears, but I sort of want to upgrade all of them since it's running stockers now.
For the KFX 80, I've heard that nobody manufactures them anymore, and my only hope is by converting the rear axle to a newer, larger bike, though I don't know what would need to be done for the fronts.
Any advice on vendors, websites, etc that I could investigate would be helpful. On the KFX 80, if I'm S.O.L. any links on the conversions I've heard about would also be very helpful.
Thanks in advance for any assistance. You'll be making my kiddos happy.
