Default what the...this may shock you too

i was talking to my dad today about our like 81 or 85 some odd john deere lawn mower, he said it had a kawasaki engine in it! i was like wtf u lie, and he said no!, there doing the same thing now with bombi but with kawasaki? is this true or is my dad just mistaken?

Your dad is most likely correct. John Deere has been using Kawasaki Power Equipment engines for years.

You know all the John Deere Gator utility vehicles? Same engine that Kawasaki uses in the Mule series. However, I have been told that John Deere hasn't used them anymore since early 2003. Not sure.....but I know all the older ones do.

Yes that is true, JohnDeere has been doing that for years. Both air cooled and water cooled.
