Eww!
One thing to question: Who assembled it? they arrive crated, with a fair amount of assembly needed. I don;t know it they have inherent problems, or maybe your dealer assembles them poorly. Either could apply.

They assemble them but I would think the engines would come assembled so the engines blowing up and the starters going out should not be from the assembly I wouldnt think. I am thinking its the cheap Chinese made kart

Could be. Haven't dealt with the Hammerhead2. Did they change the oil? I noticed that my bike came with some thin watery oil, so I immediately changed it for some 30w50 without additives. (About the best for an air cooled wet clutch bike)
I would not have trusted that thin oil in any kind of heat.

Well.. like ANY 4 wheeling vehicle you that you plan on abusing off road.. you have to maintain it. The twisters require changing the oil every 10hrs of abuse and you should check for loose bolts and CABLES before every ride. I don't think it's poorly designed, I think for what you pay for it and how its driven its a fairly well ride'n machine. Although, I'd agree with most, it could you more power on the take off and up hills, but on the flats I'm doing a good 40mph around turns fish tailing and tearing it up!

WOW.. that sux. So did the warranty cover you? I had broken the clutch guard cover on BOTH units the same day and the dealer ordered new ones free of any charges.
I've pushed both mine pretty hard but only had them out about 5x this summer. Actually thinking of selling one and buying a quad runner. The other will make for good chores and hunting use.
I'd like to learn more about modifying them for faster take offs
