Polaris Ranger ....bigger motor???
#1
I don't know if this has been discussed, but I was wondering why polaris doesn't put their 700efi or 800efi motors in the polaris ranger? I know that the ranger is very good, but wouldn't it be awsome with one of those motors in it? Just curious.

It's called the Ranger XP. It has a 700EFI engine and IRS. I'm not sure when Polaris will release it, but I do know it's coming. It's to compete with the Rhino. From the sound of it, this will be one killer ORV IMO! There is another pic in the link below...

Thanks guys, that sounds real cool. When it comes out, I don't see any ORV being able to keep up with it. We have a kawa mule and it is very good with great power, but it is very stiff ride and the suspension travel is minimal. And, since the new ranger will have IRS, I don't see how the rhino can keep up either.

Thanks for the info......Hey Polaris5610, how do you like your 2005 polaris 700efi??? Do you wish you waited for the 800 or do you think there is not a whole lot of difference? I am wondering cause I am thinking about looking into the 800efi or 700efi.
