i bought two 150cc offroad exterro gokarts from kpx motors and they are a blast. i am 6foot 2 180 lbs and even with another adult these things are great. i live in extremely rough, mountainous terrain and have put them through the worst stuff you can imagine. the kids rolled them over twice and came up laughing. i have ordered a third one from kpx motors. give them a ring 520 295 0053, ask for jennifer, be sure to tell them jeff from ojai ca sent you there, they are good guys and are allways there for any questions. by the way, they have a 250cc water cooled ,independent rear end comming.

good site, too bad there not closer, i have picked up a 150 kinroad sahara from a local dealer ( hes close and stocks all the parts), lots of fun but not much for power.Probably same as all the rest. I will keep my eyes open for 250. Will also look for mods for the sahara,

I bought a new Sahara 250 extended custom from a local company here in Oklahoma. They offer the accessories seperately as well. They show them at http://www.hayesequipment.com/sahara...dune_buggy.htm
Compared to stock, mine will run off and leave the stock unit from a dead stop and way out accelerate it. On the top end, it seems a lot faster as well but it was hard to judge since the custom was always way out in front of the stock buggy. The had the Twister 150cc as well which were a lot cheaper but the stock 250 sahara was way faster than the hopped up 150cc the had.

I'd go and look for a used Honda odessy fl-250 or maybee a fl-350. Those things are pretty quick, I saw one in action one time.
