Polaris Ranger windshield
#1
I recently installed a solid front windshield on my Ranger. I love it as far as keeping out the cold and rain. The problem I am having is that it causes a suction of the wind and the exhaust and dust come into the cab from the back of the vehicle. If you get on a dirt road it will almost run you out of the thing. I am just wondering if anyone has an idea of how to solve this problem?
Thanks,

How much was it , and what brand did you get. Do you have a roof on yours if not maybe it will help the air flow or a rear window. I think It would be neet if polaris made a camper shell out of the same stuff as there dump bed . On snowey hunting mornings it would be nice to putstuff back there and keep it dry, what do you think

we have 5 rangers at work, all with the polaris windsheilds and all will suck the dust and exhaust back into the cab. we use the cheap tarps for roofs and don't seem to help any. the only thing that we can think of, but haven't tried yet, is to run the exhaust out from under the bed.

i am a member of another forum called PRC forum dedicated to polaris rangers they are the best in my opinion, my dad has had the old gen and now has the new gan 2003 500 6x6, and i will be picking up a new 700 xp 4x4 tomorrow, we have had the dust issues as well, there are two cures, dad uses a glass windshield from polaris and a camo soft top with no doors, but he keeps the rear window rolled down. that works just fine. if you want to run a windshield with no top you can put a piece of something like an old tarp or a piece of rubber like a tailgate mat under the ranger's bed directly behind the cab, this also works great, you should check out the polaris riders club forum for more mods and solutions, hope this helps
