Default New Twister

I just purchased a Twister Two seater. It is the latest model with all the goodies. New this month is the body panels that wrap all the way around the sides, moved turn signals, power port on the dash, and I don't know what else. Oh...chome aluminum wheels and the Bimoni(sp?) Top. Is is really a hot looking little machine. I have been reading over this whole thread and I don't see any mention of aftermarket clutches or modifications. I want to increase the take-off speed. It really seems like you have to get the RPM's way up there to get the kart moving. Do the performance pipe, intake and jets make that big of a difference? Slowride...I am really impressed with your sick overhaul of your twister. I am sooooo impressed and would love to do that to mine but I do not have the time or patience to take on such an ambitious project. Back to my question, Is there an aftermarket clutch that will engage a little quicker? And the other question, Does the performance kit really help these engines out?
