So about hauling a Rhino....
#1
First off I'd like to say Hey!! to all of you. I've been reading this forum for a few months but this is my first post...
This spring I'm going to be getting myself a Rhino. I have a 4x8 trailer currently, but I know that this will just not do so I'll probably just sell it to a friend who needs one. Will I be able to haul a Rhino with a 5x8 utility trailer or will I have to break down and get a 5X10? I'm sure I could just go up to the dealer and see for myself but I'm afraid of getting sucked in and buying the Rhino now, in which case my wife would make it a long, cold winter!! Thanks.

The 5x8 would work OK, though I think it would be best to go with the 10 footer. I just picked mine up Saturday and I have a 6.5' bed and had the tires partially on the tailgate. It would fit the 5X8 but would definately fill it up.

I have a 4X8 Carson trailer and it fits darn perfect, like it was made for it. Then I added a truck bed tool box to the front of it that locks. Pretty sweet cargo trailer now.

A stock Rhino is 54" wide, how does that fit on a 48" wide trailer? Not sure I'd want to be hauling mine with half the tire hanging off on each side. Plus, what if you get bigger tires someday, or aftermarket wheels that have more offset?

I have a 5 x 10 "alumilite" trailer left over from many years of towing cycles. It is 100% aluminum except for the axle & tires. It weighs about 250 lbs. including the built in ramp. I got pretty nervous when I picked up the Rhino & thought for a minute it was not going to fit, but thankfully I have about 2" of space on each side. I'm quite lucky it fit as a new aluminum trailer is mighty expensive. I need to keep everything as lite as possible so my V6 Dodge handicap van can still pull it. 50k for a new V8 van is not possible this decade. Wish I still lived in Phoenix, flat as a pancake, lot's of hill's here in MO to bog me down.

Will a rhino fit in the bed of a f250? I know the bed is 6' 6" but I was wondering about the width. I could build something for the length but the width is pretty much what it is. Anybody haul theirs in the bed of their pick-up.
