Hello, I have a Carter DLX-15 02 seater that needs more sh*t-n-git. I keep hearing about new pipes, filters, and jets. Where's a cheap place to get new jets from? What do these interchange with (mainstream brands)? Can I find these locally? I plan to get a UniFilter pod right off the bat, but I'd like to find a jet set before I start into this.

 

You ever taken apart a carburetor before? When you remove the fuel bowl, there's two screw in jets with numbers on them. If you're still lost, remove the carb and take it to a motorcycle shop and have them disect it and tell you what size you'll need. Once you see it done once, it's a snap. Jets 'kits' are extremely overrated. New jet screws from a bike shop only cost a few bucks a piece. As for a pipe, go to www.eastsidems.com and the have performance pipes for the Twister Hammerhead. Different make and model, but the same engine.
