Should I buy a new Rhino?????
#11
just one last thing. i know of 5 rhino owners that i ride with all the time. only problem ever was with a 04 660. after a cdi swap along with a rectifier and dail-a-jet and uni air intake kit the rhino would over heat after about an hour. this rhino was also thrashed on a daily basis and should have had more wronge with it then it did.

You and I must be driving two different kinds of Rhinos. I took my partner's Rhino to LS Oklahoma in October so my wife would have something to get around in. She went up the face of EVERY dune there. There were two Rhinos with us. Both of them, when driven properly, made it up everything we attempted.
Different driving techniques maybe?

Bought an '06 660 this year and love it. We use it all around the property and it's the handiest tool in the garage. Also took it to Little Sahara OK this year and it did okay out there. It won't climb the face of the dune but it will haul sodas, beer, and spare parts for Banshees!
Had the same problem with mine as TPR did. It ran out of gas on hills and was a b!tch to start afterwards. This was on the second tank of gas. Had the fuel filter replaced and it fixed the problem. I think I'll put one of those big honkin automotive type fuel filters on it instead of the little one it comes with.
Buy it!!!! You'll love it. Just get the low profile sun shade for it...the Yamaha model won't fit in my hauler!!! ;(

Come to find out we had the apparently common problem of plastic shavings in the fuel tank and it was blocking the fuel flow which robbed some power.
It runs a bit better now.

That is pretty funny though.
