has anyone had or heard of motor mount failures on 07 ranger 700 xps...??? this in turn leads to belt shredding and then your walking instead of riding home!!!!

 

I've been hearing alot about it on another site. I only have 15 hours and 167 miles on mine so far but I still carry a spare just in case. I'm racing this weekend or I'd be in the shop trying to fab out a replacement mount to replace the stocker with. Keep an eye on the lower front mount.

I've put a few posts out there. I've had the front lower motor mount break twice on my 2007 Sportsman 800 in three months. See the following Pics. The metal palte with stud is separating from the rubber dampener. Obviously a very poor design, I'm also curious about what other site has info on this problem.

guys have been replacing the factory mount with one they crossed at a NAPA store
I guess it is a stronger rubber compound ... I also see some of the guys are fabing up a dual mount setup
