1/2 doors for a Rhino?
#1
I am currently looking for a set of half doors for my Rhino. The question is,are plastic type doors or metal better? I use mine for riding in the woods and for hunting purposes....I think that a half door style will serve my purpose. But I would like to hear from some Rhino owners that have utilized the doors.I need them mainly for the protection of a passenger getting a foot or leg caught outside while we are moving. Also need them to keep stuff from falling out of the floor board.

I put the black plastic half doors on my Rhino 660, they do a really good job. I also ride in the woods and use my Rhino for hunting purposes along with farmwork. These doors close completely (you have to remove the seat bar that is attached to the seat to accomplish full closure and latching of door) and latch in place. The doors keep everything inside and keep a lot of mud and debris out. The only downfall (at least in my case) is the doors hinges do not allow the door to open very far(only open about halfway). I reversed the hinges to try and get them to open further with no luck. Other than that, these doors are a great investment. Hope I could help.

I ordered the doors through my dealer. They are made by Strong Industries, www.jstrongindustries.com. I payed $600. Moose also has these type of doors for the same price but slightly different look.

I plan on useing the desert fabrications half doors on my Rhino.
