Mammoth Help
I have been running a Kazuma Mammoth since last June. I purchased it from a dealer called Nordic Motors in Québec, Canada. I read all your comments and I guess I must be very lucky, no problems so far other than the choke cable froze up at the beginning of the winter. I have been using it all summer and now in the winter and it works great, in fact it is like a tank! Tell me how to post pictures and I will post some. At the beginning I did have a noise when I decelerated but the service guy told me that the belt had to be run in. So I waited and ran it quite hard and slowly the noise went away. The three cyl. engine is quiet and great. Moving snow with it is great, it is heavy and I installed chains on it when I plow snow. I take them off when I go on the road to the cottage. Life is good.

gear set 150 dollars....labor 219 dollars.....out come not much better. the gear set was diff from the original one.they done away with springs all together. now its a real bear to shift. so much that i bent the shift lever and its starting to slip out again. the company acts as iff theyre not a common problem but if thats the case why not replace the junk machine with a good one and save your good name ? im really starting to loose faith and patience.

Hey Shinbone,
i talked to a guy today named Aaron in the US im from Ont, and he gave me 100 for labour and parts, he says its a spring problem in the Syncro, i duf up some more info today and going to try and shim a Pin or put a stronger pin in the trans if there isnt to much damage already and see if that fixs the problem, he said there was a bad batch on them,
my second option is wait for my new trans to come in under warranty.....
good news is some polaris ranger parts may fit!
