Default BMX 500 UTV enclosure

I just bought one of these UTV's. I love it! I used to make canvas products for the marine industry in a past life, so I decided to see if I still have the knack. I could send you some photo's when it's done. Maybe I could whip one up for you. It's only for a 2-seater with a hard top and windshield.

Default Cab enclosure for my side by side

Hi, would be very interested in a cab enclosure. Let me know how your's works out and send me a picture and rough estimate of the cost.
The BMX is sold in Canada under the name of Spartan XUV 500. I must tell you that mine has been great, 2 years running with snow plow in winter and trailer in summer. I find the CVT noisy but it works so no complaints.

If you're handy you could use U-bolts and plywood. It wouldn't look as nice as a plastic hardshell but it would keep snow and rain off your head. If I did this I would also coat it with Herculiner. It's like sprayed on bedliner in a can that you apply with a roller.

Here are some photo's of the custom enclosure I made for my BMX UTV
500. I have a windshield and a hard top on mine, so the canvas is made to fit accordingly. What do you think? I could build another one for $525 USD (plus shipping) using the same materials.

Thanks very much for the nice compliment. All of the pieces are attached to the frame (and each other) with velcro. That makes it very easy to install and remove. The patterns that I made took quite a bit of time and effort to develop, so I consider them to be rather proprietary. The notes and measurements written on them are sort of like the secret ingredients for an old family recipe.

Hey, I completely understand....most certainly many hours of fabing it up. You should consider marketing it to some of the companies, including the Xinyang company. I have a contact there if you need one. Considering that the chironix here in Canada wants approx $1800 CDN, yours is a steal. So what size box would one of these fit in for shipping and are there any metal/wooden crossbraces that would take up room in the box?
