Default Best tires for all purpose

Time to buy new tires. This will be the first time I've had to replace. Suggestions?

hard to suggest a tire when you don't post what kind of terrain you're riding...
but- I'd use rubber tires- the wood & stone tires really make for a rough ride, especially the square & triangle tires- forget about those.
should post in the tires forum- you'll get more help in there.

who peed on your Cornflakes beergut?.....lol. Man, you didnt cut him any slack, but I do agree, we need to know several things.....what you ride ( sport, ute, or side by side), where you ride, rocks, mud, trail, farm, deserts, mountains (lots of snow), etc. and what you want to spend. There are lots of good all around tires, and then there are mud, hard terrain (sharp rocks, etc, 6-8 ply rating needed), and sport riding tires. So......as Mr beer stated, we do need a little more info.

X umpteen. We need to know what kind of machine you're riding and the terrain you ride.

@beergut - I prefer steel triangle tires.
I ride mostly on dirt and grass with some hill climbing. Little snow.

If you're not going to be in the mud you won't need a tire like a Mudlite XTR or Maxxis Zilla. Maxxis Bighorns are a good all around tire but not great in mud. I'm most familiar with mud tires so I'm kind of having a hard time thinking up tires for your rig and terrain. In dirt and grass, just about any tire out there will do. If you can get one small enough for the Bear Tracker you might try the Interco Swamplite. Good all around tire that does pretty well in mud when needed.
