what sxs 4 seater for forest/rocks?
#1
I live in the Yukon and need a 4 seater sxs for the family to go play in, there is no sand dunes here so that doesn't need to factor into the make or model. I'll be doing trails along with going off the beaten path in the forest and the tundra. Lots of rocks up here also so i need to be able to climb those. Thanks for any and all input.

How wide are the trails you're anticipating? Just off the top of my head the Polaris RZR4 and RZRXP come to mind and the Can-Am Maverick. Polaris has options from 570 cc on up to 1000. Can-Am starts at 800 cc and goes up to 1000 cc. Both have long suspension travel.

You will want IRS for more ground clearance and smoother ride and a low range with a True AWD system of some type for rock crawling.
I think every side by side made now has that.

Pretty much everyone offers a 4 seat model now. How much money you want to spend is another factor as well. The Kawasaki Teryx 4 is one that wasn't mentioned, would be another good choice. I know a friend who has a regular single seat Teryx and loves it. Living where the op does, I'm also assuming the machine will be used to go hunting and fishing. Having a bigger, dumping cargo box is something that probably would be appreciated as well.
