govenor--- MULE
#2
I disabled the govenor on my 2510 and picked up about 10+mph,If your newer mule uses the same engine 620 vtwin, it probably has the same set up. We can compare notes on the govenor, disabling it is really simple.

Dunerider and anyone else interested in govenor mods on a kawasaki mule, email me. Be glad toshare the info BUT be advised I will NOT be responsible.
The mod will add significant top end on level ground with the potential of rollovers etc that might occur operating the vehicle at speeds in excess of what it was designed to handle.
information at ml3170@power-net.net

I disabled the Gov on my 3010 4X4 (617cc) by taking the bolt out of the arm and spreading the clamp so it wouldnt turn . Took about 10 mins to do and can be replaced restored in the same amount of time. I have seen only onw problem and that is if you run at top speed on hard surfaces for long peroids it will heat up the rear differential and cause the fluid to expand and puke out the vent tube. Other then that I havent seen any significent problems. You can get a diagram of the gov assy from the Kawasaki web site.
