Am I missing something, but is there still no way to include an image in a post, simply by adding tags for the URL to an image ??
for example:

 

When you are posting a message right above the message text area you will see the http link

 

I might have read that wrong you will be able to link, but will need a host for the picture. such as image station

 

If i link to a an image using http, it still only shows up as a hyperlink, but not an image.
I think it'd be great if you could insert the URL to an image and have it show up in the post as an image. Virtually every other forum interface has that functionality. Ideally, you could even upload an image from a local drive, but that might be pushing it.
