TO GET PICTURES SMALLER

1 open microsoft paint
2 open your picture up on microsoft paint
3 click on sketch/skew
4 size it down horizontal/vertical to where you dont have to scroll to see the entire picture, i ussually start downsizing with about 60% on both hor. and vert.
5 save it to your desktop or somewhere easy to get to.
6 come to the site and open them up to your pics page.
I used microsoft paint as instructed by hondaracer305 on my first pic in the photo gallery and downsized on the last photo I just put in and it worked fine.

Have posted or hit the post bio button?

The paint program worked fine for myself and was easier than using the scanner program.

Thanks Hondaracer and Bartlett I got it to work, thanks again for helping me with this and not giving up. I have tried since I signed up and was getting frustrated.

Also Raptor, thank you too for not blowing me off. Could you approve my page now? One other thing, do I have to get my page approved every time I add new pictures?AlaskaBoy.

Yes, you will need to have them approved every time you add photos and usually doesn't take very long.

One question, how many minutes per day are you adding to your light time up there right now?

Raptor, I am not sure on the minutes but is getting daylight before 8 now and dark around 7. I have been up here long enough not to bother with the minutes and enjoy the sunlight when we get it. Of course then come summer and it only gets dark for a few hours and then it is not realy that dark and then there is ample time to do everything. Thanks again for hanging in ther with me. AlaskaBoy.

Another tip, if you want to use it as your icon, you have to have it really small like the ones on the site, but once you get the hang of it, pictures wont be a problem anymore. I noticed you got some up, they look good.

Thanks Hondaracer, I have a bunch I have to dig thru and scan them(yes, the old fashioned way but I have only just gotten a digital camera last fall and my wife and she won't let me take it out riding) and find the ones I like the best. AlaskaBoy.
