Anyone else noticing the speed of the forums between 5-10pm. Its been super slow lately. It only seems to be these forums thou.

 

Mine just got a lot faster around 11pm EST. During the afternoon its very sluggish, not sure why other websites seem to work pretty well.

 

Must be the amount of hits lagging the site. But they just upgraded???

No, we haven't upgraded yet.

The new server is built and I installed it in the server rack today. I'm now working on installing more server software on the server. If all goes well I should be able to move the forums to the new server later this week.

The new server has double the RAM and dual processors that are double the speed of the existing dual processor server.
